Park University’s Department of Nursing will host a community health fair on Thursday, April 13, from noon to 2 p.m. in the Park Avenue area of the Mabee Learning Center/Academic Underground on the University’s flagship Parkville Campus. Admission to the event is free and open to the public.

The health fair provides an opportunity for the University’s nursing students to showcase what they have learned in community health, and it provides the community with an opportunity receive pertinent health information. In addition, the Platte County (Mo.) Health Department will provide free, confidential sexually transmitted infection testing.

Other organizations/businesses expected to participate include Park University’s Counseling Center, Parkville Nutrition, Platte County Community Center South and Tri-County Mental Health Services. The University’s Pirate Pantry will also provide information for Park students.
